Bob W, approached the Wise IT team with the goal of optimizing their organization’s use of the Google Workspace platform. They were looking for a more flexible licensing solution that would accurately reflect the diverse roles and needs of their employees, moving away from their existing one-size-fits-all model.

Previously, the entire company operated on a single Google Workspace license type: Google Workspace Business Standard. This uniform approach lead to overall Inefficiency:

- Business Starter (Flex Plan): Assigned to employees needing core collaboration tools (Gmail, Calendar, Drive), also perfect for hotel email accounts that don’t need advanced features.
- Value-added Feature Trial: Recognizing a potential need for improved data governance, Wise IT offered Bob W a 30-day trial of Google Vault. This allowed them to test its eDiscovery and data retention capabilities in a real-world environment without commitment.
- Seamless Transition & Partnership: the Wise IT team provided comprehensive support throughout the transition phase, ensuring a smooth and disruption-free process for all users.

The implementation of the new strategy successfully resolved the client’s initial challenges:
